Weekly Reading:

Day 1 – The Narrow Gate and the Wide One

Scriptures: Matthew 7:13–14; Joshua 24:14–15

  • Where do you feel the pull toward the wide, easier road of cultural comfort?

  • How does Jesus’s description of the narrow way challenge your assumptions about the Christian life?

  • What small, daily choices move your heart onto the narrow path rather than drifting into the broad one?

  • How might choosing Christ today free you from the tyranny of trying to please everyone else?

Day 2 – Discerning Fruit, Not Appearances

Scriptures: Matthew 7:15–20; Galatians 5:22–25

  • How do you typically judge whether someone is spiritually trustworthy — by appearance or fruit?

  • What fruit in your own life reveals genuine growth in Christ rather than outward performance?

  • Why is it dangerous to assume someone is faithful simply because they sound spiritual?

  • Where might the Spirit be inviting you to cultivate deeper, quieter fruitfulness?

Day 3 – When Saying “Lord, Lord” Isn’t Enough

Scriptures: Matthew 7:21–23; James 1:22–25

  • In what areas do you feel the temptation to settle for knowing truth rather than obeying it?

  • How does Jesus distinguish between mere profession and authentic discipleship?

  • What rhythms help keep your obedience rooted not in fear, but in love for Christ?

  • Where does your life show the difference between talking about Jesus and actually following Him?

Day 4 – Building on the Rock

Scriptures: Matthew 7:24–25; Psalm 18:1–3

  • What storms in your life are revealing the true foundation beneath your habits and priorities?

  • How does practicing Jesus’s words — not merely hearing them — anchor you in strength and stability?

  • What specific teaching of Christ do you need to act on rather than merely admire?

  • How has God shown Himself to be a rock for you in past seasons of pressure or fear?

Day 5 – The House That Falls

Scriptures: Matthew 7:26–27; Proverbs 10:25

  • What parts of your life feel like they are built on sand — unstable, shifting, or hurried?

  • How do the consequences Jesus describes awaken you to the seriousness of neglecting His words?

  • Where is the Spirit urging you to rebuild, repent, or realign with Christ’s teaching?

  • How does His warning lead you not to despair, but to a deeper trust and steadiness in Him?
