Lead Pastor: Trevor DeField

Trevor and Erika DeField have been passionately involved in church ministry since their youth. Before joining Hope Church, Trevor served as a Youth Pastor, Children's Pastor, Worship Leader, and Head of Family Ministry while also engaging in various secular work such as working on an orchard and ranches, welding, blacksmith, building houses, and mining for marble, coal, silver, and gold. Together, Trevor and Erikca are deeply committed to the local church and are enthusiastic about empowering others in their relationship with God and the work of ministry. They believe in the power of Gospel-centered discipleship, fostering relationships, and diving into deep biblical study. Trevor and Erika's journey began while they were discussing theology and pursuing their degrees at Northland International University. Trevor holds a Master's in Theology and a Master's in Divinity with an Emphasis in Biblical Languages from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Married since 2015, they are blessed with three amazing children and enjoy family adventures at the ocean, fishing, hiking, biking, and embracing all winter sports.

Elder: Mike Morrill

Mike Morrill was born in Portland, Maine but grew up in Japan until returning to Maine and graduating from South Portland High School in 1974. He enlisted in the USAF and was stationed at Ramstein AFB in Germany where he was exposed to the Gospel and professed saving faith in the Person and Work of Christ and served in the Landstuhl Bible Baptist Church. He eventually moved to Colorado Springs in 1982, married the love of his life, the former Heidi Clouse in1991 with whom he has four children, and was ordained to the Ministry in 1998, serving as the associate pastor of Sagecreek Church as well as being active in both prison ministry, Bible studies at work and providing pulpit supply.
In 2000, they moved to Maine where Mike served as adult Sunday School teacher and Elder at various churches in the Brunswick area and as a volunteer chaplain conducting Sunday services the for men and women incarcerated at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. He came to Hope Church in 2018 and now serves as an Elder. Mike’s heart’s desire is expounding upon the Word of God pointing people to Jesus, to their knowing the heart of the Father and to live as salt and light to the world around them.
