Weekly Reading:

Day 1 — Seeing People With Compassion

Scripture: Matthew 9:35–36; Psalm 23:1–3

  1. Who in your life might be harassed and helpless spiritually, even if they seem fine outwardly?

  2. How does Jesus’ compassion challenge the way you view people who are still searching or struggling?

  3. What would it look like to let Christ’s heart shape your response to the lost rather than frustration or indifference?

Day 2 — Praying for the Harvest

Scripture: Matthew 9:37–38

  1. How often do you intentionally pray for people to come to faith in Christ?

  2. In what ways has prayer softened your heart toward those who are far from God?

  3. How might God be calling you to become part of the very answer to the prayers you are offering?

Day 3 — Ordinary People, Extraordinary Mission

Scripture: Matthew 10:1–4; 1 Corinthians 1:26–29; 2 Corinthians 4:7

  1. What insecurities or excuses keep you from believing God can use you for His kingdom work?

  2. How does Jesus’ choice of ordinary disciples encourage you in your own calling?

  3. Where is God asking you to simply show up faithfully rather than feel fully qualified?

Day 4 — Faithful Where God Has Placed You

Scripture: Matthew 10:5–7; Colossians 4:5–6

  1. Who has God intentionally placed in your daily life to hear the gospel through you?

  2. How have you been tempted to think gospel work must happen somewhere else or someday later?

  3. What simple step could you take this week to point someone toward life in Christ?

Day 5 — Serving With Trust and Perseverance

Scripture: Matthew 10:8–15; Matthew 6:19–21

  1. What motivations most often drive your decisions — comfort, security, or Christ’s kingdom?

  2. How does trusting God to provide free you to serve generously and boldly?

  3. How should remembering both rejection and eternal hope shape your faithfulness in sharing the gospel?
