Day 1 — Committing to Christ

Matthew 8:23; Matthew 4:18–22; Matthew 7:24–27

  1. What does committing to follow Jesus require of you right now—not just in intention, but in action?

  2. Where might you be tempted to follow Christ conditionally rather than wholeheartedly?

  3. How does knowing who you follow give clarity when the path ahead feels uncertain?


Day 2 — Sleeping in Storms

Matthew 8:24; Psalm 4:8; Psalm 127:2; Proverbs 3:23–24

  1. What worries or fears most often steal your rest—physically or spiritually?

  2. How does Jesus sleeping in the storm challenge your understanding of trust in God?

  3. What would it look like to entrust your anxieties to the Lord before you rest tonight?


Day 3 — Asking for Assistance

Matthew 8:25; Psalm 44:23–24; Matthew 7:7–11

  1. When you face overwhelming circumstances, what usually drives you to cry out to God?

  2. Are there areas of your life where pride has kept you from asking the Lord for help?

  3. How does this passage encourage you to bring even fearful or confused prayers to Jesus?


Day 4 — Believing in Bewilderment

Matthew 8:26; Matthew 6:25–34; Isaiah 26:3

  1. What fears reveal areas where your faith may be weak or misdirected?

  2. How might Jesus be addressing your heart before changing your circumstances?

  3. In what ways is God calling you to trust Him more deeply in the midst of confusion?


Day 5 — Recognizing the One Who Reigns

Matthew 8:27; Jonah 1:4–6, 15–16; Psalm 89:8–9

  1. What does Jesus’ authority over the wind and sea reveal about who He truly is?

  2. How does recognizing Christ’s sovereignty reshape your response to life’s storms?

  3. Where is the Lord inviting you to replace fear with worship and awe?
