Day 1 — Forgive Abundantly
Matthew 18:21–22
1. Am I keeping a mental record of how many times I have forgiven someone?
2. Is there someone I am willing to forgive only if they meet certain conditions?
3. What would it look like for me to release resentment and extend forgiveness abundantly this week?
Day 2 — Forgiven People Forgive
Matthew 18:26–27
1. Do I regularly remember how much God has forgiven me?
2. How does the magnitude of God's forgiveness toward me change the way I respond when others wrong me?
3. Where do I need to replace a sense of entitlement with gratitude for God's mercy?
Day 3 — The Danger of Unforgiveness
Matthew 18:28–33
1. Is there someone whose debt against me feels much larger than the debt I owe God?
2. Am I more concerned with receiving what I think I deserve than extending the mercy I have received?
3. What resentment or bitterness am I holding onto that God is calling me to release?
Day 4 — Forgive from the Heart
Matthew 18:34–35
1. Is my forgiveness merely outward, while I continue to harbor anger and resentment in my heart?
2. What would genuine, heart-level forgiveness look like toward the person I struggle to forgive?
3. Am I willing to ask God to change my heart even if my feelings have not yet changed?
Day 5 — Remember What Christ Has Done
Ephesians 2:1–5
1. Do I remember who I was apart from Christ and how much grace God has shown me?
2. Have I begun to see myself as morally superior to the person I am struggling to forgive?
3. How can remembering my own need for grace help me extend grace to someone else?
Day 6 — Pray for Those Who Hurt You
Luke 6:27–28
1. Am I willing to pray for the person I resent—not for their harm, but for God's blessing and work in their life?
2. What would change in my heart if I prayed for this person every day this week?
3. Am I asking God to transform my anger and bitterness into compassion and love?
Day 7 — Forgiveness and Healing
Romans 12:1–2
1. What thoughts, emotions, or desires for revenge do I need to surrender to God?
2. Am I allowing the gospel to transform the way I understand the person who hurt me and the situation itself?
3. What specific step can I take today to release my resentment and pursue the freedom and healing God offers through forgiveness?
